Meet Ian

When I first came to Soar Mill I swiftly understood what was wanted — good food, family atmosphere and that magic ingredient that raises the bar. Now we’ve a two AA rosette restaurant. It’s driven by menus that are modern and individual but also contain lovely touches of that Soar Mill family magic. And I source locally for richness in flavour for everything from refreshing salads to rib-eye steaks and a fantastic array of seafood.

“ Good local ingredients are the foundation of a great dish. That’s what I’m all about. I love being able to pick fresh herbs outside the door. I simply love what I create, is there any other way a real cook should be?”

Our NEW 'alfrescove' deck opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am - 4pm from the 16th April for light bites and lunches.

Now taking bookings for Hotel, Restaurant and Spa from the 17th May and beyond.

During this closure period our reservations team are available 10am - 5pm, Monday - Saturday.
